Privacy policy
Short version: we don’t use accounts, tracking cookies or analytics scripts. We only store your email if you give it to us.
What we collect
- Server logs. Like every website, our servers and our CDN provider (Cloudflare) process your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages, prevent abuse and apply rate limits. Logs are kept for a short time for security.
- Waitlist. If you join a waitlist, we store your email address, the site and the form you used, so we can email you about that launch.
- Purchases. If you buy Pro, payment is handled by Stripe, which receives your payment details directly. We receive confirmation of the purchase and the email you gave Stripe.
What we store in your browser
Only a convenience setting: your dark or light theme choice, kept in localStorage. You can clear it at any time. We set no cookies.
Advertising
Ad slots are served by the airplanes.live ad server (ads.airplanes.live). It is a first-party network ad server and does not run third-party tracking on this site.
Aircraft data
Aircraft positions are public radio broadcasts collected by the airplanes.live community. Aircraft owners with privacy concerns can learn about the FAA’s LADD and PIA programs. We show the data as received.
Your choices
To remove your email from a waitlist, reply to any email we send or contact us through airplanes.live, and we will delete it.
