What it does in US skies

Delta, JetBlue and Breeze fly growing A220-300 fleets in the US. Breeze uses it on longer point-to-point routes, while JetBlue is replacing its Embraer E190s with it.

Main US operators: Delta Air Lines, JetBlue, Breeze Airways.

    How to recognize a A220-300

    • Same nose, wing and big-engine look as the A220-100, but a longer body.
    • Two overwing exits on each side.
    • Large cabin windows for its size.
    • Often confused with an A319 at a distance; look for the A220's slimmer nose and no wingtip fences.

How it looks on a flight tracker

Typically at FL330 to FL410 at 420 to 510 kt. Look for DAL, JBU and MXY (Breeze) callsigns.

    History

The CS300 entered service with airBaltic in 2016. Airbus builds A220s at Mirabel in Canada and at Mobile, Alabama, for US customers.
